About The Fund

The Employee Disaster Assistance Fund provides financial help to employees impacted by natural disasters or other life-altering events and is fueled by the generosity of Comcast NBCUniversal employees.

100% of every donation supports employees in need and all operating expenses will be covered by the company.

All donations to the fund at the Emergency Assistance Foundation, Inc. are tax deductible in the U.S. The EIN# for the Emergency Assistance Foundation is 45-1813056. 

Apply for a grant

Your team is here for you when disaster strikes.

​Help is available for qualifying events caused by disasters like floods, hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, tsunamis and other events that impact your primary residence.​

The maximum grant amount available per employee per year is $5,000. In the US, grants are tax free. Participation is confidential.

You asked for a way to financially help teammates impacted by natural disasters, and we are proud to add the Fund to our playbook on disaster relief.

The Emergency Assistance Foundation, Inc. will manage all Fund activities and assist applicants with their grant applications. This non-profit partner is a tax-exempt 501c(3) organization. Comcast  NBCUniversal will not have any insight into the grant process unless a grant recipient chooses to share his or her story.
